
JANET ZUCKER has been producing and managing in the entertainment business for over two decades. Janet co-heads Zucker Productions with her husband, writer/director Jerry Zucker (Airplane!, Ruthless People, Ghost). She produced Rat Race at Paramount Pictures and First Knight at Sony Pictures. Currently she is producing Fair Game starring Sean Penn and Naomi Watts, directed by Doug Liman, as well as Dear Dumb Diary, to be written and directed by Tony nominated Kristin Hanggi and financed by SKE. Along with her producing duties and a busy development slate, Janet is also a passionate advocate for stem cell research. Janet and Jerry started Proposition 71, the California Stem Cell Research and Cures Initiative. Janet is the President of CuresNow, a non-profit organization promoting the rapid, responsible and ethical advancement of science for the purpose of bringing about treatments and cures for diseases and illnesses such as diabetes. In addition, she is a co-chair of The Science & Entertainment Exchange, a communications initiative designed to open up lines of dialogue between entertainment industry professionals and the science community to promote positive and accurate science in the media.

JERRY ZUCKER runs Zucker Productions with his wife, producer Janet Zucker. Jerry directed the box-office hit Ghost which was nominated for five Academy Awards including Best Picture. He has directed several memorable films including First Knight and Rat Race. Also an accomplished producer, Zucker's body of work includes producing A Walk in the Clouds, My Life, My Best Friend’s Wedding, and more recently, Unconditional Love. Jerry Zucker began his career in collaboration with his brother, David Zucker, and Jim Abrahams when they formed their production company, known as ZAZ. The team wrote and directed the 1980 comedy classic Airplane! Jerry is also a co-founder of Cures Now, a non-profit organization promoting scientific research in the advancement of regenerative medicine.
